Darryl Ed, Chairman
Darryl Ed has led Haverfield Aviation for nearly 15 years and has an extensive background in the helicopter services industry, having introduced aerial power line services to AgRotors in the late 1980s. As a commercially instrument flight rules (IFR) rated helicopter pilot, he has held the positions of Chief Pilot, Chief Flight Instructor and Director of Operations, accumulating 7,000+ flight hours during his career. He joined Haverfield as President in 1998 and then relocated Haverfield to Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. Darryl is a recognized innovator in the aviation and power line industry, holding several patents and trademarks as the inventor or co-inventor for methods, improvements and equipment used for inspection and maintenance services in the industry.
Brian Parker, President & CEO
Brian Parker has served as Executive Vice President of Haverfield since 2001 with direct oversight of the company’s business development and research and development activities. He received his initial flight training in the U.S. Army and was selected to become an elite Aero-Scout Pilot. Brian joined Haverfield in 1987 as a pilot and was involved in developing many of the company’s products, services, procedures and proprietary methods, having achieved more than 9,200 flight hours during his career. He has held positions as Chief Pilot, Operations Manager and Director of Operations before his promotion to Executive Vice President. Currently, Brian works closely with Haverfield’s crews, customers and business partners and regularly participates in negotiations with utilities, the Department of Energy and international power-delivery entities.
Christine Cassell, Chief Operating Officer
Christine Cassell assumed the role as Chief Operating Officer in November of 2016, overseeing the executive functions of Flight, Line and Maintenance Operations. She has served as Chief Financial Officer of Haverfield since 2006 with responsibility for the design and implementation of commercial activities including: accounting, legal, contracting, data management, insurance and human resources. Christine has been successful in developing alliances with customers, vendors and Haverfield team members that have proven to be invaluable in shaping the corporate culture of the company. Christine graduated from Mount St. Mary’s College with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, and a Masters of Business.
