Darryl Ed, Chairman
Darryl Ed has led Haverfield Aviation for nearly 15 years and has an extensive background in the helicopter services industry, having introduced aerial power line services to AgRotors in the late 1980s. As a commercially instrument flight rules (IFR) rated helicopter pilot, he has held the positions of Chief Pilot, Chief Flight Instructor and Director of Operations, accumulating 7,000+ flight hours during his career. He joined Haverfield as President in 1998 and then relocated Haverfield to Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. Darryl is a recognized innovator in the aviation and power line industry, holding several patents and trademarks as the inventor or co-inventor for methods, improvements, and equipment used for inspection and maintenance services in the industry.
Brian Parker, President & CEO
Brian Parker has served as Executive Vice President of Haverfield since 2001 with direct oversight of the company’s business development and research and development activities. He received his initial flight training in the U.S. Army and was selected to become an elite Aero-Scout Pilot. Brian joined Haverfield in 1987 as a pilot and was involved in developing many of the company’s products, services, procedures and proprietary methods, having achieved more than 9,200 flight hours during his career. He has held positions as Chief Pilot, Operations Manager and Director of Operations before his promotion to Executive Vice President. Currently, Brian works closely with Haverfield’s crews, customers and business partners and regularly participates in negotiations with utilities, the Department of Energy and international power-delivery entities.
Richard DeMoss, Vice President
Richard DeMoss is currently Vice President of Haverfield Aviation, which was proceeded by his role of Vice President of Operations. Richard served in the United States Army for 7 years. He achieved journeyman lineman in 2004, and additionally obtained bare hand and hot stick certification. Richard started as a groundman and worked his way up in the field of line work. His commitment and dedication in this line of work has proven to be safe, efficient, and productive in relation to the utility business.
Christine Cassell, Chief Administrative Officer
Christine Cassell joined Haverfield in 1998 as an Executive Administrator and is now serving as Chief Administrative Officer. Christine has been instrumental in developing policies for Human Resources, Safety, Legal and Accounting/Finance and has been a leader in shaping the culture of Haverfield. She has also held positions of Executive Administrator, Director of Administration, Chief Financial Officer, and Chief Operating Officer. Christine graduated from Mount St. Mary’s College with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, and a Masters of Business Administration.
