Haverfield has developed a world-class training program for pilots and linemen that is recognized as the gold standard throughout the utility industry. The Company’s robust training program enables Haverfield to scale while maintaining its standards of excellence in safety and quality. Led by a 25-year industry veteran, Haverfield’s training program is instructed by five dedicated full-time training instructors, many of whom have authored and defined industry operating standards and protocols. To ensure that the Company’s instructors remain at the forefront of safety and operations, they attend numerous training events and seminars led by key industry groups, including the Helicopter Association International (HAI), FAA, Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and American Red Cross (ARC).
The Company’s extensive, scenario-based training program meets or exceeds all FAA and manufacturer requirements and includes three phases: (i) initial training, (ii) recurrent training and (iii) advanced training, as highlighted in the following image. Furthermore, training occurs at the outset of every job, and operational plans are clearly developed and communicated prior to initiation of work. Haverfield’s training program is focused on developing fully-functioning operational crews equipped with the necessary knowledge to provide the safest services possible.
