Line Retirement

Since the beginning of the 19th century, electric power has become a staple in most homes across the United States. This has been possible because early innovators developed a way to transport electricity from its source to points of consumption. The most popular transportation method was, and still is, overhead transmission lines. While these lines are an integral part of distributing data and power, they are subject to environmental factors and age. Utilities work tirelessly to maintain the integrity of these structures, however, in some instances removing the structure is the most prudent decision.

Haverfield Aviation does not stop at aiding utilities in maintaining transmission lines and structures. Our dedicated teams regularly preform line retirement in a variety of environments. Whether line retirements occur near remote outreaches with limited access or in highly populated areas, Haverfield can complete the work safely and efficiently with very little impact on the environment.
